The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced team environment and provide the highest level of work ethic.
In this position, you will operate CNC machines, with bar feeders, and/or parts catchers.
The ability to follow instructions and process inspections, drawings, and specifications is critical to your success at UPC.
Experience working in the A&D industry is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a CNC Operator role.
Skills and Responsibilities Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines Conduct routine quality assurance test runs on the machine outputs according to specifications Monitor machines while in use to maintain output throughout the day by checking for tool wear, making offsets, or replacing tools as needed Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly Check and preventative maintenance on equipment daily and maintain a clean work area Physical Requirements Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments Walking, standing, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, etc.
