Fabrication Associate

is seeking to hire a Fabrication Associate for our client in Washougal, WA!
Pay rate: 23.00
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4pm
Responsibilities:
Sawing and fabricate all sizes of plastic pipe fittings and structures in our plastic industry. We assemble elbows to manhole and all kinds of fittings in between for the Municipal, Industrial and Commercial industries.
Operate hand and hydraulic fusion welding equipment and all types of hand tools including chain saw, radial arm saw, band saw, reciprocating, grinders, and many others. We train the welding process, but a mechanical background is required.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds or possibly more depending on the project.
Must be able to hold extrusion welder for long periods of time and mauver them in awkward positions.
Must be a good communicator and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to read a tape measure and convert feet into inches.
A tape measure test is a prerequisite, and you need to be able to measure within 1/8.
We have a First-In-Safety standard that is our first priority. You must always wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and always work safely.
Qualifications:
Some construction or mechanical experience required.
Blueprint reading is preferred.
General computer skills preferred.
Ability to lift, load, and maneuver pipe and fittings into welding machines.
General math skills to allow for layout and dimension verification.
An ability to learn is a must have!
Excellent decision making and communication skills.
Arrive on time every day and work some overtime as required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
